Magazine pitch


An exciting music magazine which will have a primary audience males and females between the ages of 15-30, this is because I found from my research that these are the most likely to read a music magazine. Making my target audience unisex broadens my target audience. The genre of music my magazine will mainly focus on is pop and rock as I found from my research that these are the most popular. My magazine will include music artists that are currently popular in the music industry.

The Bauer Media Group is one of the most successful media companies in the world. Over 570 magazines, over 300 digital products, and 50 radio and TV stations reach millions of people around the globe. The company has 11,000 employees in 16 countries, with the recent addition of the former Emap Consumer Media titles, Bauer is now the largest consumer magazine publishing company in the UK, playing a large role in the Women’s Weeklies, Women’s Interest, Women’s Lifestyle, TV Listings, Puzzles, Men’s Lifestyle, Music & Film and Specialist magazines. They work with magazines such as Kerrang and Q.

Blaze publishing

Blaze has grown to become the largest independently owned publishing company, in the last few years it has managed to expand into music magazines and live events. The company publishes a range of guitar and drumming magazines, the have a number of specialised editors and team members working around the UK.
